Halloween!

Hi Everyone,

Mandy and Tanisha here. We thought it would be a good idea to do a post on how we spent Halloween!
We started the day by going to a sushi bar with friends in our costumes, Mandy had a California Roll, Tanisha had Teriyaki Chicken and rice, and our two other friends had California Rolls and complimentary seafood.

Tanisha's meal

Mandy's Food.

After that we went to Tanisha's apartment to decorate her place for our mini Halloween party, just the four of us. While we were working our butts off decorating the boys decided it was a good idea to play battlefield =_=

We had spiderwebs and creepy spiders all over the place, and Caution and Do Not Enter tape was stripped across the walls and the front door.

After decorating we started to make the food. We made green cupcakes with worms, Fruit punch with skull heads and lemon slices, and the last food was Jello with a HUUUUGE spiders, and flies (yummy!)

Jello

Fruit Punch.

Green cupcake mix.

While we were makign the food, the boys finally got up and carved the pumpkins! Isn't Mandy's cute?! ^__^

Mandy's pumpkin.

When everything was done with we ate everything while watching a movie (We dont remember the name, but it had something to do with the devil and fog!) and than we had pizza.

We hope you all had a SCUUURRRRRRRRYY Halloween!

Mandy's Review:

EOS Candy Brown

Item details:
Weight: 0 kg, 100 grams
Brand : E.O.S
Diameter : 14.0mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6mm
Life Span : 1 year disposal

I really love EOS lenses they all are very comfortable and the color on the lens is not too harsh so it still gives off a nice natural look! I like how in person it doesnt look too fake even though there is a big black ring around the lens. Instead it makes your eyes look glossy and pretty with nice halo effect!

Overall:
I give this lens a 10/10
very comfortable. No problem at all with 7-8 hour wear, nice color and very pretty. A must have if you want dolly eyes♥

 Shiny Green

Item details:
Weight: 0 kg, 100 grams
Diameter : 14.5mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6mm
Life Span : 1 year disposal

I've been thinking about getting green lenses for a while now but I never came across one that really caught my attention, until I saw this one. All of the reviews were good so I wanted to try them out. I have medium brown eyes so it's hard for me to find colour contacts that will show up on my eyes and still look natural. But thats exactly what these lenses do. They don't look fake on me and the brown in the center blends really well with my own eye colour. I recommend these lenses for people with dark brown eyes.

Overall:
I give this lens a 10/10
Really really comfortable, I could wear them all day without my eyes getting dry.
Love the color, does not look fake at all. A must have if you want natural green eyes!

Geo Tri Blue

Item details:
Weight: 0 kg, 100 grams
Diameter : 14.0mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6
Life Span : 1 year disposal

I like these contacts they go very well on my medium brown eyes. The blue color shows up and looks pretty natural. These lenses do not enlarge the eyes but that's fine with me. The color is so natural that I could pass off as having blue eyes! Wich is really hard to do if you have brown eyes, haha.

Overall:
I give this lens a 10/10
Again really really comfortable. No problem with wearing them longer than 6 hours.
Love the color, blends in really well with brown eyes. A must have if you want natural blue eyes!

Tanisha bought two contacts from Pinky Paradise.

Geo Ash Wing

Barbie King Size Circle Brown

Tanisha's review::

Barbie King Size Circle Brown.

Weight: 0 kg, 100 grams
Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Life Span: 1 year disposal

The contacts are really comfortable. I have to admit when i first got them i thought that they sent me the wrong contacts because out of my eye they looked like the Twilight Edward Cullen Golden eyes so i got a little scared, But when i put them in all my worries faded and realized these were the right contacts! They enlarge your eye size when you put them in, and they are really good to wear if you have brown eyes because than it doesnt matter if your actual brown eye is visible in the centre because it blends.

I rate these contacts a 10/10 on comfortability.

Geo Ash Wing.

Weight: 0 kg, 100 grams
Diameter: 14.0mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Life Span: 1 year disposal

The Geo Ash Grey ones Are really nice,They don't show up that well on dark eyes but they are noticeable in the light and if you're really close to my face :)
The only problem with these contacts is they dry up pretty fast in my eyes, and I also feel them move a bit when i blink for the first half hour of wearing them.

I rate these Contacts a 9/10 on Comfortability.

We hope you enjoyed this review,
Love Always, Tandy

EDIT** After 5 months, Tanisha's contacts broke in the centre but only on her left eye.

Mandy's Chicken Breast And Coconut Rice Recipe:::

Hello Everybody,

Lets get started! The ingredients you will need For the chicken:

  • Chicken breast
  • paste soy sauce
  • onion
  • four garlic toes
  • and vinegar

garlic toes

And for the rice:
  • Sticky asian rice ;)
  • and coconut milk
  • and olive oil
  • and salt.

Directions.

Get clean chicken breast (no skin, veins, blood) and cut them into strips and cut the strips in half to make little pieces. When you finish cutting the pieces, put them into a bowl.

wash them with vineger (move the chicken around, make sure the vineger gets everywhere on the chicken) and than drain the vineger.

Cut the onions into strips and put them in with the clean chicken, Than take your four garlic toes and peel the skin off and than shred the garlic on top of the onion and chicken.

Add soy sauce (use your gut feeling for the amount) making sure it covers everything (Picture Below) and  if you want flavour add Aurora Bouillon Mix Vegetable and mix everything together.

Put your pan on the stove and your heat setting on 6, Add two tablespoons of olive oil to the pan. Put the bowl of your mixed ingredients into the pan and stir occasionally so that it does not stick to the pan.

Now onto the rice! (Keep an eye on the chicken)

Put two and a half cups of rice into a bowl and wash it with cold water until the water isnt really white anymore but NOT 100% clear :)

After the rice is clean, drain the water. Put a pot on the stove and put heat setting to 4-5.
Put a table spoon and a half of olive oil into the pot, add the washed rice (It will sizzle!) Make sure you add all of the rice in together and fast because the oil will mix with the water and burn you! Mix the pot a rice a bit.

Punch a hole into the coconut milk can and put two and a half cups of it into the pot with rice. But our can doesnt fill two and a half so we use water for whatever is missing so that the rice doesn't taste too much like coconut :)

Put one teaspoon of salt, mix it, and cover it and let it sit there! Mix it every so often so that it doesn't burn to the bottom of the pot though!

Back to the chicken!
Its kinda watery right now so use a cup and take all the watery sauce out and into a bowl.
Let the chicken bake/cook and little by little add the sauce back in when the chicken looks dry until theres barely any sauce in. The chicken will absorb the sauce this way.

When you're done adding all the sauce back to the chicken let it sit there and lower the heat to 2.
Check on the rice, by now it should be almost done. When the rice is dry put the heat to 1 and keep stirring every so often so it doesn't burn/stick to the bottom of the pot.

Turn of the chickens heat and mix it for a bit. Chicken done! Leave on the stove so it warms.
Check on rice, keep mixing, it should be done in five minutes.
Five minutes~ turn rice off

And VOILA! you have just finished making Chicken breast and coconut rice!

Goodluck! Love Always, Tandy!

Hi everyone,

Tandy here.
We wanted to let you guys know that we finally finished our mermaid tails. It took us a while to figure out how we were gonna make it and what materials we were going to use. We went through hell making it thats one of the reasons why we are not sharing our method of how to make it. We can give you a hint, use google and youtube as your guide it helped us a lot! Here are pictures of the finished tails.

This is the bottom
The teal tail is from Tanisha and the purple tail is from Mandy.

This is the the top part.

So good luck to you if you are making a tail!

Coastal Scents review.

Hi guys,

Mandy here. I wanted to review the product that I got from Coastal Scents.

I want to start with the Black soap. This product is really good for oily acne skin. I've been using it for about a month now and my face looks and feels healthier. I cut the huge piece of soap in a bar so that it's easier for me to use. I wash my face 2 times a day, in the moring and before going to sleep. Right after im done washing my face it feels soft and oil free.

What I don't like about this product is the smell. I'm used to scented soaps with a nice flowery smell. So I really had to get used to that, But other then that it's a good product and I'm very pleased.

 I rate this product a 5/4.

Right after I'm done washing my face I use Unrefiend Shea butter as a moisterizer. It's very rich of oils wich is good for my skin, because during the summer it gets dry fast. When using this product you just need a little bit, that will be enough for my whole face.

What I don't like about this product (again) is the smell. It's worse then the black soap. But I got used to it after a while so it's okay.

I rate this product a 5/4

Before putting on my make-up I prime my face with the diva defense powder.
I LOVE this product it's so light on the skin, it leaves my skin oily free the whole day and it leaves my make-up in place. I definitely recommend this.

I rate this product 5/5

The last review I want to do is the Pristine Cleansingblend. I use this prodcut to remove my eye make-up.
It's very gentle and has a fresh smell. It's not oily like most of the eye make-up removers. That's one of the reasons why I really like it. I put two pumps on a cotton pad and thats all I need to clean my two eyes.

I rate this product 5/5

This was my review about my order from Coastal Scents.
I hope it was usefull for you.

Mermaid Tail In Progress.

Hello everyone,

Tandy here, Lately we've been into mermaids and of course we know that they don't exist but that doesn't mean we can't become one! We were inspired by Hannah Fraser, a well know mermaid model and actress from Australia. Her tails are really nice and we decided to make one ourselves. Here is a picture of her most famous blue tail that is now retired with a broken monofin.

So now we are on a mission to create our own tails. We've figured out what we need to make our own tail, and that is Swimsuit material, a monofin, flexible plastics such as floor matting or curtain fringing material, a sewing machine, a zipper that wont rust and anything you want to design your tail with. We pretty much have everything to make the tail except for the monofin and the flexible plastic. We ordered the monofin though and it should be here by Thursday and we are getting the flexible plastic at Home Depot.  Mandy made designs for our tail (Their really good), here are some pictures.

This is the waist to ankle part.

This is the fin detail.

And this is the end result.

We went to the fabric store to find swimsuit material and these were the only colours left, they have a scale looking pattern which is perfect but we are probably gonna add some stuff to it later.
Here are some pictures.

Tanisha's tail is Teal.

Mandy's tail is Purple!

This is the pattern.

In the above pictures of our tail colours, you can also see a shall that is a few shades lighter then our tails. That is what we are going to use as decorations on our tails. They will be attached to the fin and also like the Hannah Fraser picture all the way at the top, they will be shredded into long strings on our sides and back. So when finish we will have pictures and maybe a video or two. Have fun making your own!
